Book Giveaway of the Week

I had so many interesting commments about this book, as well as quite a few discussions with people about it, so I thought I'd make it available as a giveaway.

This is Mistaken Identity by Don and Susie VanRyn and Newell, Colleen and Whitney Cerak, from Howard Publishers.

Meet Laura Van Ryn and Whitney Cerak: one buried under the wrong name, one in a coma and being cared for by the wrong family.

This shocking case of mistaken identity stunned the country and made national news. Would it destroy a family? Shatter their faith? Push two families into bitterness, resentment, and guilt?
Read this unprecedented story of two traumatized families who describe their ordeal and explore the bond sustaining and uniting them as they deal with their bizarre reversal of life lost and life found.

And join Whitney Cerak, the sole surviving student, as she comes to terms with her new identity, forever altered, yet on the brink of new beginnings.
Mistaken Identity weaves a complex tale of honesty, vulnerability, loss, hope, faith, and love in the face of one of the strangest twists of circumstances imaginable.

Wow, that sounds amazing. And sort of like Karen Kingsbury's "One Tuesday Morning," which I loved but cried boatloads through. Please count me in!!

This is a situation that actually has happened, and it does bring up a whole lot of serious quesitons. I t hink it would be quite an interesting book.

Me, interesting? I guess the most interesting thing would be from my job. I taught Englsih as a Second Language for most of my adult life. It taught ME more than I taught my students, about cultures, relationships, and even myself as I tried to help my stuents learn to survive and grow in the US.

Wow, I'm totally intrigued by this book... :-)

Trying to think of something interesting about myself... I'm thinking that if you'd let me tell you something I IMAGINE about myself it would be much more interesting, lol. Guess I've been reading too much Anne of Green Gables. *sheepish*

My middle name is Elda, my grandmother's name. :-)

Thanks for the drawing!

Here is something I think might interest some: I was born two months premature, yet I grew to be the tallest of us girls in my family. My brother outgrew me in high school and it took me two years to finally concede the fact. Oops, maybe that's two? Well, I'd love to win this book, it has me in it's grip, the desire to read it, already. Please enter me. Thanks.

Something interesting about myself? Well, I'm a singer and bass player in a Southern Gospel/Bluegrass band. We're all one family, and there are ten of us! If you don't believe me, our website is www.WeaverBeliever.com.
